# Cloudinary MediaFlows Release Notes: April 30, 2026

## New Features

### Apps & Connections

The new **Apps & Connections** page provides a central hub for managing the third-party app accounts that your flows use. Connect accounts for supported integrations once and then select the saved connection when configuring blocks across multiple flows. The page shows an overview of your connected apps and accounts, lets you add or disconnect accounts, and displays how many flows each account is actively used in.

Blocks that integrate with third-party apps now include a connection field in their configuration panel, so you can select a saved account rather than entering credentials each time.

### New PowerFlow block: Notification

The new **Notification** block sends in-app notifications to selected users during a flow execution.

Notifications are useful whenever you want to be alerted to significant events in a flow without having to monitor logs manually. For example, you might add a Notification block to alert your team when an asset has been uploaded and is ready for review, when an asset has been rejected by a moderation step, when content has passed (or failed) a quality check, or when a flow requires human input.

You can currently send notifications to individual users. Support for sending notifications to user groups is coming soon.

You can [view your notifications](mediaflows_user_guide#view_notifications) on the new Notifications page.

### Notifications page

MediaFlows now includes a dedicated [Notifications](https://console.cloudinary.com/mediaflows/notifications) page, accessible from the left sidebar. It collects all in-app notifications sent to you by [Notification](mediaflows_block_reference#notification) blocks across your organization's flows. Notifications are grouped by flow and block, so repeated executions accumulate assets into a single entry for easy batch review. A badge on the sidebar item tracks your unread count.

## Enhancements

### Include structured metadata in search results

The [Search Media](mediaflows_block_reference#search_media) block and the [On Scheduled Search](mediaflows_block_reference#on_scheduled_search) trigger now include an **Include structured metadata** toggle. When enabled, each asset in the results includes its structured metadata, making it available to downstream blocks without requiring a separate [Get Structured Metadata](mediaflows_block_reference#get_structured_metadata) block.
