Cloudinary Included in Forbes Cloud 100 for 6th Consecutive Year

For the sixth consecutive year, Cloudinary has been listed in the Forbes Cloud 100. Just like in previous years, this recognition holds immense significance for all of us and is a tremendous accomplishment.

Inclusion on this prestigious list of the most valuable private cloud companies is entirely the result of the hard work and contributions made by every Cloudinarian. Our ongoing commitment to our customers, our people-first values, and the innovative products we’ve built together, make this year’s announcement as special as the first. 

On an occasion such as this I can’t help but reflect on all that Cloudinary has accomplished since our first appearance as a Forbes Rising Star in 2017. Over these last six years, Cloudinary has had to, like many businesses, navigate through a challenging, unpredictable landscape. Through it all we’ve managed to remain a bootstrapped, customer-centric business and proud builders of the tools some of the world’s leading brands use to create and deliver engaging media experiences.  

Over the last 12 months, Cloudinary has continued to push the boundaries of what’s possible in the digital media management landscape, particularly in the AI space. Our ongoing focus on AI – a focus that dates back to our earliest days as a company – has enabled us to deliver numerous, leading-edge solutions that are empowering creatives and technical teams, like:  

  • Generative Recolor. Eliminate manually retouching photos for color adjustments by manipulating colors in images at scale.
  • Generative Fill. Intelligently resize or transform images from vertical to horizontal, and replace backgrounds without any manual effort. 
  • Generative Remove. Remove unwanted elements from images and automatically add a matching, branded background. 
  • Generative Replace. Detect, change, and replace unwanted elements and colors all via natural language prompts. 
  • AI-Powered Image Captioning. Intelligently create image captions for galleries, user-generated content, and product descriptions at scale. 

As our co-founder and Chief Product Officer, Nadav Soferman, emphasizes, “Generative AI has completely transformed the way we work, and the most recent advancements are just scratching the surface of what’s possible.” 

Additionally, in this past year we have welcomed new customers including Dow Jones, TFG London, Marks & Spencer, Trek Bikes, Manscaped, Zapier, Sherwin Williams, AON Corp, Rooms2Go, SeatGeek, Merle Norman Cosmetics, Asana, and Corsair. Each brings their unique vision and requirements to the Cloudinary community.

We recognize the ever-evolving nature of our industry. Our partnerships, including the acceptance of JPEG XL by Apple and our integrations with industry giants like Salesforce, reinforce our commitment to shaping the future of digital media. Our presence within the MACH ecosystem and key partnerships with Contentful, Contentstack, and commercetools continue to pave the way for seamless composable experiences.
