Image Generation is available today as an add-on for Cloudinary self-service customers.Image Generation uses credit-based billing. One credit is approximately $0.01, and each generation consumes a variable number of credits depending on the selected model and output quality. Higher-resolution outputs require more credits.
Image Generation plans and credits are separate from your standard Cloudinary account. Every account includes a limited allocation of free Image Generation credits to help you get started. Once those credits are exhausted, you’ll need to subscribe to a paid Image Generation plan to continue generating images.
Image Generation plans are independent of your Cloudinary account plan, so you can subscribe to a paid Image Generation plan even if you’re using Cloudinary’s free tier.
Paid plans include a monthly credit allocation. Once those credits are used, additional generations are billed on a pay-as-you-go basis. You can view available plans, subscribe, and monitor your remaining credits from the Image Generation add-on page in the Cloudinary Console.
