We’re always looking for better ways to help our customers easily engage with our Media Experience Cloud. Empowering companies of any size to launch inspired rich media experiences and harness the full potential of rich media assets is our key goal.
To better support this we are extending our portfolio of media management products to align to business teams. Programmable Media, our Media API-based product, will continue to be focused on technical and development teams. For digital asset management (DAM), created to meet the needs of business users, we are rebranding with a new name: Cloudinary Assets.
In support of this release we’ll be making a number of improvements:
- New Multi-Product Interface. The process of switching between Programmable Media and Assets has been simplified, users will see only products that are actively licensed and trials with the ability to quickly switch between product workspaces.
- Cloudinary Assets. Cloudinary Digital Asset Management has a new name: Cloudinary Assets. No need to worry, all your trusted features are still present—only a new name.
- Media Explorer. A new UI-based tool for development teams to access, explore, and visually generate dynamic code snippets for rich media assets. Coming soon for all Programmable Media users.
Important Dates:
With a gradual rollout beginning in late-March and completing in April, all customers will enjoy a new multi-product interface experience. Should you wish, you can opt-in to the new experience now through your Account Settings.
