Overview is a headless Content Management System (CMS) that enables marketers and developers to plan, create, and deliver digital experiences to any channel.

Installing the Custom Element on your headless CMS provides a seemless integration with Cloudinary for marketers, enabling you to insert Cloudinary assets directly into and manage both assets and content within a single interface.

When you click on Kontent's special custom element component, the Media Library opens, giving easy access to your Cloudinary Digital Asset Management (DAM) system. Once you're finished managing your assets there, you can select to insert the desired assets directly into Kontent.

While Kontent's streamlined authoring environment enables you to create and manage your content, Cloudinary ensures that your assets are automatically enhanced and optimized using Cloudinary's AI-based media experience solutions.

Benefit from these powerful Cloudinary features, made easily accessible:

  • The Cloudinary DAM as your single source of truth for storing and collaborating on all of your rich media files. You can share media with other users, apply structured metadata values tailored for your organization's media workflow, and take advantage of advanced AI capabilities that enable automatic tagging, face detection, advanced search capabilities, advanced editing, background removal, and more.
  • Cloudinary's media optimizations, which enable media handling at scale including automatic image and video optimization and fast delivery to every user device and delivery channel.
