Cloudinary's SAP Commerce extension can enhance your end-users' shopping experience by incorporating Cloudinary's visual media automation into your SAP storefront.

Setup and installation

0:15	Before installing the Cloudinary extension, make sure you have a Cloudinary account. Sign up for a Free plan, starting with generous usage limits. If your requirements grow, you can easily upgrade to a plan that best fits your needs.

Locate your product environment credentials

0:39	Your product environment credentials include your cloud name, API key, API secret, and environment variable. They are located on the API Keys page of the Cloudinary Console Settings.

Apply upload presets

1:18	With upload presets, you can also automatically specify how assets should be stored in your Cloudinary Media Library when uploaded from SAP.

Configure global transformation and breakpoint settings

1:39	Global transformations can be applied across all of your images and videos in SAP. These transformations can be overwritten on the catalog level or even on an individual level. The extension provides automatic settings to apply Cloudinary's most powerful transformations such as f_auto and q_auto to ensure each image and video is optimized for website performance.

2:26	Use the "auto" setting to streamline the breakpoint generation process using Cloudinary's automated breakpoint solution.

Set up your Cloudinary Product Gallery

Deliver videos with Cloudinary's Video Player

3:46	The embedded Cloudinary Video Player is a feature-rich HTML5-based video player that allows you to customize the look, features and functionality of your videos on your storefront.

Update your global settings

4:41	If you want to replace or change any of your global settings, all you need to do is click on the folder path in the configuration window.

Insert assets with Cloudinary's Media Library

4:50	When you're ready to add media items, select and insert your Cloudinary assets directly from your SAP Backoffice.

Add product spin sets to your storefront

5:36	To add a product spin set, you first have to prepare the image set in your Cloudinary Media Library.

Apply transformations to individual assets

6:20	To apply a unique transformation to an individual asset or overwrite a global transformation on the individual product level, you will need to go to the Multimedia tab for the specific asset.
