Why can't I insert images from the Cloudinary DAM in the Salesforce Commerce Cloud PageDesigner?

The Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) PageDesigner relies on standard browser security features and your Sandbox settings might prevent Cloudinary components to properly function within the browser.

One such issue relates to using aliases for your SFCC sandbox. You can configure your sandbox to have a domain as an alias described here. For example, if your alias to the sandbox is "www.merchant.com", the browser will report a certificate error for the "www.merchant.com" domain since the sandbox uses a *.demandware.net certificate.

There are two possible solutions:

• Remove the alias OR
• Access "www.merchant.com" and accept the certificate on the browser to continue using the Cloudinary DAM within the page designer.
